BOUDOIR WITHOUT THE PERFORMANCE

I’ve been photographing bodies + their stories for well over a decade, and there’s nothing I want to do more for the rest of my life. However, the longer I’m in the boudoir industry the more I crave something less polished, less performative, and more raw.

Enter: The Body of Art Sessions

A completley separate offer from my typical boudoir experience. These sessions will live as the alternative option for people ready to go deeper, to breathe deeper in their session, to feel deeper, and to tell a story through collaborative image making.

Think of these sessions like a boudoir acoustic set

Everything you need to feel like art, nothing you don’t. Stripped down and deeply intentional with all the emotional resonance of an acoustic candlelight set of all your favourite songs.

For those ready to see their body as art, to tell their story, and to walk away from the experience with heartfelt imagery and embodiment that will trickle into every facet of your being.

HERE, WE USE EMBODIMENT AS A PORTAL, PHOTOGRAPHY AS A MIRROR, PLAY AS MEDICINE, STORYTELLING AS TRANSMUTATION, AND HONOUR YOUR BODY OF ART.

Before we open these sessions up to the public, I’m inviting my past clients to be the first to step into this new experience. For a very select few, you could trial this with me, and together we can play, co-create, breathe a little deeper, and create art that honours your body as a true work of art—and your constant companion through your one beautiful life.

WHAT MAKES your BODY

of ART session DIFFERENT

NO HAIR and MAKEUP

come as you are, raw, intimate, authentic. no hair and makeup is included in your experience, instead, we settle into your session slowly. chatting, drinking tea, doing some guided journaling, pulling tarot cards if that feels right. you won’t arrive and be thrown in front of the camera immediately, we set the container with intention—building up to guiding you in front of the camera.

FOCUSING on STORYTELLING

Less is more is the focus of these sessions—stripped down to make it feel like an acoustic set. Less posed, more fluid, embodied, and focused on deep intention + story-telling.

You still get to chose one option from a selection of limited bonus sets: outdoor, wet skin, wet sculpture, or smoke. Add ons that really let your story and body of art be the central focus of your experience.

DITCH the CLOTHING

whereas our traditional boudoir experience includes up to 4 outfits—the body of art experience includes zero. No outfits, no clothes, no distractions from your body and your story. nervous about being fully naked? don’t worry, we can still drape you in fabrics or a selection of robes to help you feel more covered until you’re ready to bare it all (trust me, it feels more normal and natural than you’d think to strut around in your birthday suit!)

ALL YOUR IMAGES

You keep every photo from your final gallery, no narrowing down favourites, no cutting the detail shots. You keep it all. That way we can focus on creating a story, co-creating with intention, and focusing on feeling first. Your final gallery will be approximately 100+ lightly retouched images

*for reference a traditional boudoir full gallery is 250+ images, this is an entirely different approach + experience.
