When Grace walked through the doors of the Moss Mansion, she didn’t just step into a photography studio - she stepped into a sanctuary of art, liberation, and self-discovery.

As the doors open, our clients are greeted into a warm and inviting space, you’ll be offered tea, coffee, a glass of water, a little tour of the space and you’ll get to meet Tara, our incredible hair and makeup artist who will spend the next hour pampering you beside a crackling fireplace. We take your coat, offer you slippers and a robe if you want them, and make sure that those nerves flitter away so you can focus on the important stuff, you!
At Moss Boudoir, every session is about so much more than beautiful photos. It’s about being seen - truly seen - in a world that often tells women to shrink. For Grace, this experience became a reclamation of self, a reminder that beauty isn’t about perfection - it’s about presence.
From Nervous to Empowered
Like most clients, Grace arrived with a mix of excitement and nerves. Almost all of our new clients feel “a bit nervous” when they first arrive at the studio, but within 5 minutes those feelings quickly melt away. It’s completely normal to feel those nerves - it’s a new space, new photographer, and potentially a new experience. But this isn’t about performing, this is about simply being.
